Lost Books Affect 5th, 8th and 12th Grade Trips and Activities

If your child has not returned all library and textbook by 5th, 8th, and 12th grades please read the following information: Florida Statute 1007.497 requires schools to collect the full purchase price of all lost, destroyed, or damaged instructional materials regardless of age or condition. The Bradford County Student Progression Plan requires the collection of books or debts before your child can participate in 5th or 8th grade field trips or 12th grade senior activities or trips. The purpose of this notice is to inform you as early as possible this year so that you can return the book/s or pay the amount owed in a timely manner so that your child can participate in their grade-level trips and/or activities. We will be glad to work with you on a payment plan if that would help. Please contact the school secretary/bookkeeper if you have any questions.
